Take a 3 Days Bwindi gorilla safari to visit the gorillas with Africa Adventure Safaris. Detailed Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi
You will be picked up from your Kampala/Entebbe Hotel in morning by your safari guide for a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have en route stop overs at the Uganda Equator for photography and for a lunch break in Mbarara city. Later proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening. This is a long drive taking 8 to 9 hours with en route stop overs. Dinner and Overnight at Mahogany Springs / Four Gorillas Lodge (Luxury)/ Bakiga / Ichumbi Lodge (Mid range)/ Trackers Tavern (Budget)
Day 2: Gorilla tracking and community walk
In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest, an activity that may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you will go for a community walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (Day 1).
Day 3: Transfer to Kampala.
After breakfast you will depart Bwindi for Kampala with en route stop overs for photography and a lunch break. You will arrive in the evening for a transfer to your Hotel or directly be dropped off at Entebbe airport for departure depending on schedule.
