Erebero Hills lodge is a luxury safari lodge located near Buhoma sector on the northern side of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. The name Erebero means “a place where you can see far.” The lodge forms part of the Asilia Camps & Lodges collection, which owns and manages several safari properties located in Tanzania’s and Kenya’s renowned national parks. The lodge stands on a hillside overlooking the rainforest, with views of valleys, forested slopes and surrounding landscapes. Erebero Hills lodge combines modern comfort with a natural setting and provides convenient access to Buhoma UWA park headquarters. The lodge is located about 30 minutes to 1 hour from Buhoma and Ruhija gorilla trekking briefing centers which allows guests to trek in different sectors depending on the sector allocated on your gorilla permit.

Erebero Hills Lodge has been designed as an intimate property with 8 spacious glass fronted suites including 2 triple suites designed for families or small groups. Each suite is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a freestanding bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers with a continuous supply of hot and cold water. The floor to ceiling glass walls allow plenty of natural light into the rooms and offer views of the forest. At the entrance of each suite there is boot room which provides convenient storage space for luggage, trekking equipment and personal belongings.
The lodge also features a swimming pool located near the main lounge area which offers a peaceful setting where guests can relax. For added comfort, guests can enjoy private spa and massage treatments in their suites.
The lodge is powered by solar energy complemented by a backup generator that ensures a reliable electricity supply around the clock. Erebero Hills welcomes families and accommodates children aged five years and above.

How to Access Erebero Hills Lodge
- By Air
Guests can take a scheduled domestic flight or chartered flights from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip. The charter flights are available for booking through providers like Bar Aviation and Aerolink Uganda. From Kihihi, a road transfer to the lodge takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. - By Road
Travelers may also drive from Entebbe or Kampala to Kanungu district. The journey is about 450 km and generally takes between 8 and 10 hours depending on road conditions and stops along the way. Many visitors combine the journey with visits to other destinations in Uganda like Lake Mburo National Park among others.
