The 3 days Murchison falls National Park tour will enable you explore the biggest and oldest national park in Uganda. Spreading on 3,893 square kilometers, Murchison Falls National Park is one of Uganda’s popular National Parks which receive high numbers of travelers from all parts of the world. The park is named after the mighty murchison falls located in the heart of this savannah park. Murchison Falls National park is home to four of the big five in Uganda which are Buffalos, Lions, Leopards and Elephants. In addition to these, game drives in the park ffe you great views of other animals which include giraffes, zebras, Uganda kobs, Waterbucks, Imapals, Topis, Oribis, warthogs, Elands and Giant Forest hogs among others. The park also comprise of Budongo forest which shekter the endangered chimpanzees habituated for trekking. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Enroute Zziwa rhino sanctuary
You will be picked up from your Hotel for a transfer to Murchison falls national park. Have an en route stop over at the Zziwa rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking where you will meet one of the big five mammals. The sanctuary has other wildlife species including small antelopes and birds. After tracking rhinos proceed to Masindi town for a lunch break and later continue to Murchison falls national park visiting the Top of Murchison falls for photography and sightseeing. Meals and overnight at Red chili Rest camp (Budget)/ Pakuba safari lodge (Mid-range)/ Kabalega Wilderness Lodge (Luxury)

Day 2: Game drive and Boat Cruise
Wake up early for a cup of coffee / tea and embark on a morning game drive in search for early raisers as well as predators returning to their hideouts. During this game drive, expect an encounter with the African lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes and Giraffes among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast as we wait for lunch. After lunch for go for a launch cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls. This is a birders paradise with over 450 species, huge crocodiles, Hippos and Elephants basking on the shores. Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking & Departure
Go for Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest reserve after where you will meet mans’ closest primates. You will enjoy the chimpanzee trek amidst sighting of other wildlife in the forest including other primates and birds. Later exit the park for a transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe arriving in the evening for a drop off at your hotel or airport depending on schedule.
