Learn some local words
Travelers to Rwanda especially the “solo” are advised to learn some local words to ease communications. Ensure to learn words for greetings, asking directions, bargaining in markets and public transport. Local people are always excited whenever they see a foreigner speaking their language.
Carry some local currency
While in Rwanda, you are advised to carry some local cash in Rwanda francs. Most of the local markets and retails shops use local currency in most of the transactions.
Have travel documents

Do not move at night
