Detailed Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest
Our tour guide will pick you from Kigali airport upon arrival and immediately transfer you to Nyungwe Forest national park. Overnight at Nyungwe Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking
Take a cup of tea and enjoy a morning chimpanzee trekking in the lush Nyungwe tropical rainforest. In the afternoon a canopy walk will occupy your program. Dine and stay an overnight at Nyungwe Safari Lodge
Day 3: Transfer to Ruhengeri
After breakfast embark on a long drive bisecting Rwanda country to the famous Volcanoes national park. Along the way there is a lot to see including the local homesteads. Arrive in Kinigi in the evening. Dine and stay an overnight in Mountain Gorilla View Lodge /Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking

Day 5: Dian Fossey Graveyard
This morning hike to the Karisoke research centre where lies the graveyard of famous primatologist, Dian Fossey, whose gorilla conservation legacy can be traced in the book: Gorillas in the Mist.
Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking
After breakfast enjoy another fantastic adventure – the Golden Monkey (Cercopithecus Kandti) tracking, now listed by the IUCN as an endangered species. Only 6 visitors are allowed to track these beautiful primates a day. Dine and stay an overnight in Mountain Gorilla View Lodge /Gorilla Nest L

Day 7: Transfer back to Kigali
In the morning drive back to Kigali for a city tour before flying out of this fabulous nature gifted country. This day visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial site, the handicrafts shops, among others. In the evening you will be dropped at Kigali airport for your scheduled flight.
