Day 1: Kigali city to Bwindi – Uganda Your safari Guide from Africa Adventure Safaris will pick you up from the airport on arrival or from your Kigali Hotel. Start with a Kigali City tour visiting the genocide museum and other places of interest. You will then depart Kigali for Bwindi in southwestern Uganda with an en route stop over for a lunch break and photography. Arrive in Bwindi in the afternoon or evening for meals and overnight at Bakiga Lodge/ Ichumbi Lodge Day 2: Gorilla Trekking 2 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tour After an early morning breakfast transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing and then proceed for the gorilla trek. The gorilla trek takes 1 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and once you get to them you will stay in their presence for an hour. You will see other wildlife species in the park especially birds. You will later return for Hot lunch at your lodge and later transfer back to Kigali.After the Gorilla trek return to the lodge, enjoy some food and refreshments and immediately transfer back to Kigali. Upon arrival at Kigali International airport, you will have to drive via Kigali city and cross over to Uganda. Cyanika border in Kisoro district or Katuna border in Kabale

  • Distance from Kigali to Katuna - 80 km (Roughly 2 hours)
