This is the best of Uganda’s Primates Safari featuring a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park. It’s a private and exclusive safari for all the transfers and game drives. Chimpanzees and gorilla tracking will be done with other tourists but has a limit of 8 people.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, Entebbe International Airport
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to your Hotel. Relax and acclimatize ahead of your adventures the next day.

Day 2: Kibale National Park
Head to Kibale National Park situated in western Uganda. You will pass through the Ugandan country side with scenic views of plantations. Arrive at your lodge for a lunch break and later head for a guided walk to the Bigodi wetlands sanctuary. Here you will see a number of birds and primates.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking Adventure
Africa Adventure SafarisOn this day you will head to the forest for your chimpanzee tracking adventure. These primates have over 95% DNA similar to humans and are very mobile. It’s advisable to have binoculars as you get to see many other species in the forest including birds. In the evening you can for a walk or Cycling enjoying scenic views

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Set off early morning for a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The 3 hours’ drive takes you the crater lakes where you will enjoy great scenic views. Arrive early enough for a lunch break and later have a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel. In the evening you have game drives as you head to your lodge.

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depart for Bwindi impenetrable National Park on this day via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here you will have a game drive viewing the sectors major wildlife including elephants, Topi, waterbucks and if lucky the tree climbing lions. Later have a lunch break and proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Adventure
8 Days Uganda primates safariThis is the most anticipated day as you head out to meet one of man’s closest primates the mountain gorillas. Report to the park headquarters for a briefing and then be guided to the forested mountains. On getting to the gorillas stay in their presence for an hour and later return to your lodge. In the evening you can go for a community visit or another guided forest walk.

Day 7: Lake Mburo National Park
Leave Bwindi Impenetrable Park for Lake Mburo National Park located in western Uganda to reduce on the drive distance. Arrive in time for lunch and later can go for game drives seeing the parks major wildlife including giraffes, zebras, antelopes among others.

Day 8: Departure
Have a nature walk in the park and can later Set off for Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your departure flight depending on schedule. In case you require a Dayroom use you will be at 2 Friends Hotel as you wait for your flight.
