Brief Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, the driver guide representing Africa Adventure safaris will be waiting for you. Meet, greet and transfer to you hotel in Kigali. You can do an optional city tour and a night life to see how nights in Kigali be like. Overnight stay at The Manor Hotel, Kigali
Day 2: Kigali City tour & transfer to VNP
After breakfast, visit the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Ground where the remains of 1994 genocide victims were buried. You will be told the whole story of how the massacre started and what transpired it. Other places to visit in Kigali include the handicrafts shops, the museum, kimironko market, shopping malls and the presidential palace among other fascinating places in Kigali. In the afternoon start off the drive north westwards headed to Volcanoes National park. The drive time from kigali to Volcanoes is roughy 3 hours via rolling hills, towns and local communities. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge / Kinigi Guest House.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes national park
After breakfast, our tour guide will lead you to the park headquarters for briefing from the head of the park rangers. At 8.30 am local time, commence the memorable gorilla tracking experience. You will be left in the presence of the awesome mountain gorillas for about an hour. Take photographs and enjoys the antics of baby gorillas as they swing from tree branch to another.
